BALI!!!
How nice is it to sip cocktails by your own private pool, just relaxing inside that little haven? Ahh! I'd love all that rejuvenation. But becos I'm a sight-seeing person, I had booked a few tours too. Else it'll be boring just cooping inside the villa right?
Do you know how time-consuming it is for me to design this trip? Me, especially? A freaking indecisive person. From flights to accomodation to tours to drivers to itineries, I'm so annoyed with myself. Drivers... there're SO many of 'em. I'd read all the reviews but couldn't make up my mind. Accomodation especially! I want to stay in all the villas cos they all look so gorgeous! Then I have to go read reviews, find out the EXACT location, its surroundings, how far is it from the airport etc. before deciding on one finally (pics below).
One destination off my list! But this was not the place we originally wanted to go. Last week, I FINALLY managed to persuade the little princess to go Korea, instead of Australia (Reason being I might go to Aus to study, which means I have 3 years to tour around ya know!) Originally she was adamant when I tried to persuade her, she'll say, "I don't want. You all go lor..."
So I was v happy when she relented. But when Mum brought us to Chinatown on Sat (where most tour agencies are located), it was too late for us to book!! Being so late had v few choices of dates, not to mention crazily high prices. Mum suggested Bali, which I'm even more keen on. But that little princess acted up again, saying she don't want to go cos she heard from her friends there's alot of mosquities. !!!
But after I showed her pics of the villas, she changed her mind So.... yay! (btw I'm not having holidays, not v obedient of me to skip sch uh?) I'll be bringing my laptop too, gotta rush out an advertorial on the 1st night.
Mum bought me a knitted coat though. Initially she didn't want to, but it looks good & after thinking, she said, "Ok you could wear it when you go to France." WTF say until like I confirm leaving. Somemore say till so nonchalant, like she won't miss me at all Mum said it looks like French dressing (From what I read in the book I borrowed, there's nothing Parisians do so well as dressing. They like to look "put together" & take it very seriously. Women in Paris won't even dream of wearing shorts. Tourists dressed sloppily stick out like a sore thumb in Paris.) Eh... I think I have quite abit of shopping to do before I leave
I'm a sucker for winterwear, having quite a few at home. Don't ask me why, I just can't resist buying cos I think winter fashion is so sophisticated! Time for sleep. Zzz it's 5am, again so late!
Just 5 more sleeps!! But before that, I gotta go out tml to buy 2 new camaras. Not that mine is spoilt, but I must have the LX5. Another one is water/shock proof for rough use. Can anyhow hit on rocks/sling it on your wrists when you go rafting & don't have to worry about spoiling it! Excited... Dad's the best!

Hi Audrina, of cos I'd share! I think it's a great buy. There's one time I saw a new advertisement on tv about this new winter shop, but I forgot to note down the name! But just nice I saw it @ Chinatown people's park complex!
It's called OCE (i think). You can find alot alot of winter wear there, reasonably priced. Just tell the assistant which destination you're headed to, & they can tell you what you need for that temperature.
Hi Alicia, thanks so much ! :) may i know how much you paid for it?
I googled it, it's OE2 :)
Oh really? I googled but can't find the official website.
It's selling at $120, but thy have a 25% discount so its only $90! Alternatively you can go to zara for some really class pieces :)
