My QT

Grandma was admitted into the hospital a few days ago, gave us all such a scare! Esp me becos even though it's serene & has a peaceful environment, this place holds alot of bad memories. Grandpa was ill early last yr & kept going in out in out, had a few operations, but still passed away :( So I was really really afraid on the way here.

Just one day after I accompanied grandma for a check-up (where the doctor will ask questions to test her memory to check if she has dementia, & she was impressive! Funny too, cos the questions were simple & the way she answered is like, "Wednesday LAH!"), she complained of chest ache the next morning. So my aunt brought her to KTPH for a more detailed checkup, & she has to stay here for 5 days. On another note, it's a good thing she told us, cos usually she'll pretend she's fine even when she's sick in order not to go to the doctor.

Lucky she's fine. Please please please please PLEASE let her be fine. She's too important. I just came back from the hospital & here's a pic of my QT pie :) She looks so cute right! She'd been having alot of ulcers, causing a dip in her appetite, thus low blood pressure so she must stay for observation.

Now, she's eating ALOT more than usual. She told me "要吃多多就可以快点回家, 住这边很幸苦", meaning she really dread staying here, must eat more so can go home asap. Yes that's the way girl! :)

Eating unhealthy food, caught on camera!

She hates hospital food cos it's totally bland. So my aunt will cook at home or whatever she has a craving for we'll dabao over. Of cos those more unhealthy ones only eat in moderate portion. Poor thing... lost 12kg in 2 months.

Next week's her birthday. Must recover healthy so we can celebrate! :)

Just this morning my granny peed on her bed. I wasn't that alert, and all I recall was her daughter discovering it when back from marketing, and I wheeled her to the toilet. At a age 80-ish, sitting on a wheelchair with waterlogged pampers, she is the boss.

Her.eldest son came to bring her to his house. 4 hours later she said not used to big house so returned to her usual 3 room hdb - "ah Kong" haven't build the every-floor elevator yet, bery mah huan for the wheelie.

.. Bless the old people la. Your one jiayou also. My one tonight decided to check out the handsome docs at Tan Tock Seng. Good riddance. Paiseh.. :-P

You know how parents work.

They may send u to school u may rather not attend, and when u are out of it, they start to mix and match girls and guys on the island, so that they can keep their business and marriage..
